The problem with mirror life.

"Mirror life presents serious dangers, primarily due to its potential to interact unpredictably with the natural world. Without natural checks like predators or antibiotics, mirror organisms could replicate uncontrollably, creating risks that scientists are only beginning to understand. Credit: SciTechDaily.com" (ScitechDaily, “Mirror Bacteria” Warning: A New Kind of Life Could Pose a Global Threat) When we think about artificial life, and especially mirror life. We must say. This technology. It can save billions of lives. But otherwise, those kinds of organisms could be hostile to their mirror forms. The shape of the mirror-life is like a form of a vampire. In movies, vampires look cute. But then. They show their real nature. The mirror-organisms are created for something. They look like original organisms. But they are AI-generated mirror-organisms. The purpose is to control things like hospital bacteria.  Mirror-life is the artificial life created by AI. And genologists. T...

The new era of the air force is here.

Above: YQF-44 The main problem is to find. The most effective mix of manned and unmanned systems.  The YQF-44 is the new type of drone. That system uses AI-based air combat capability. These kinds of systems can operate independently or with manned systems. Basically. An automated bombing system is very easy. To make. The system can use a radio beam. And the drone flies in it. Another radio beam. That crosses the path rays. Launches bombs at the right point. More advanced AI-controlled systems. It can use a Terrain Contour Matching (TERCOM) technology to determine its location. And then that system can determine its location using terrain photos. When the image. Its camera sends. Matches with an image. When that is stored in computer memory, the system can launch bombs.  Above: X-62A with chase plane. Lockheed Martin (Internet) The QF-16 is basically an aerial target. The Shield Corporation, along with Lockheed-Martin (General Dynamix), transformed that thing into a system....

When AI refuses to work.

“Carnegie Mellon researchers found that the smarter an AI system becomes, the more selfishly it behaves, suggesting that increasing reasoning skills may come at the cost of cooperation. Credit: Stock” (ScitechDaily, AI Is Learning to Be Selfish, Study Warns) Training AI to support group work is not as easy as people think. AI is selfish if it has orders to follow a thinking route. That it chooses. Or the route. That it's ordered to choose to make conclusions about things that users asked.  When people use AI alone, they can use anything that they want. In that case, the AI must please only one user. But if we want to make an AI model. Or a language model that can serve teams, we face many things that we must describe to the language model. There are multiple types of people in teams. Nothing can please all of them. We are all different.  And that means it is always possible that not all people can accept the answers. That the AI gives. The big problem is. People should follow ...

Wireless technology involves existential risk.

We all use Bluetooth and other wireless systems. Those systems give us freedom to operate. When we listen to music. Or do something. Like that. Wireless systems are free from wires, but sometimes we should ask, what if somebody hacks those systems? The effective distance. Of Bluetooth communication. It is about 20-100 meters. Bluetooth 5 has an effective distance that can be longer than 200 meters. And if somebody could hack the Bluetooth key that the system uses for making connections, that would allow that actor to transmit information into those Bluetooth devices. If somebody wants to transmit so-called subliminal acoustic signals to the receiver, that system doesn’t need two-way communication. The high-power electronic warfare system can make that thing possible.  Hacking those systems is always a big risk. But when we think about things like Brain-implanted microchips. And Brain-Computer Interfaces, those systems allow operators to hack. The person’s mind. The system that conn...

The robots, AI, and humans are interacting and forming an ultimate team.

The next-generation AI interconnects the human, computer, and physical robots. The AI works as the connector which connects human operators and different types of robots to one entirety. The robots are operating by using pre-loaded mission modules.  The idea is that in the memory of computers is stored the "behavior" or action models. Those models fit regular situations. But when the robot is facing something unexpected. It calls human assistance. So the robot's controller creates the new movement macro for handling the situation that is not mentioned in the programming.  So if no stored macro fits the situation the computer tells the programmer to create the fitting macro. When we are thinking about AI-controlled semi-automatic robots. The human operator would give the common orders what load the operational database in its memory.  So if the robot's mission is to rescue some person from the hands of hostile operators that mission can load into the RAM (Read Access M...

How to teach social skills to robots and AI?

One of the versions is to make a large-scale database structure where is different versions of words are used in social situations. Then the programmer makes the first connections between databases. After that, the system starts to talk with its creators.  The thing is teaching social skills for AI is quite an easy thing in theory. It's just connecting databases. But social skills are more than just saying words. They are noticing the facial expressions taking the hat off when going to the church. And other kinds of things.   But if we want to make the AI what discusses like a real person that requires a lot of databases and connections between them. If the system would make the job interviews that thing requires lots of data. And if somebody says or asks about things that are not in the database, the system might ask the programmer to answer by talking or writing it to the computer.  The thing is that if we want that AI to talk with us about everyday situations. Tha...

Use of artificial intelligence can limit the epidemics.

Source : WHO Kimmo Huosionmaa When some person gets an infection of some virus, the early isolation and quarantine with early medical attention might save lives in the case of the epidemic. This system works with the same principle that the image-recognition programs, but it selects the targets by using the visible symptoms of the infection. This kind of program can also use to recognize the cancer patients in the streets. The artificial intelligence can also deliver the information of suspected cases to national- and international organizations like CDC (Centre for Disease Control and Prevention) and WHO. Use of artificial intelligence can be used as the select the persons for tests if the sensors notice the changes of skin, what are connected with cancer or epidemic. The problem of this kind of recognition of this kind of recognition about the people is that when the human looks the monitors, the person who has cancer or infection can flee from the picture when operat...
