That place is actually a river, what seems quite calm, but it's the place, where nobody ever came up alive. "The Strid" or officially Bolton Abbey is a place, where is something, what kills people. And in some rumors, there is some kind of sea anemones, that would cause the death of the people in this place. In this theory, those little sea anemones are living on the rocks at the bottom of the river. And when the swimmer would be thrown to the rocks the sea anemones would burn that poor person to death. This happens also in the air, and when the sweat or other damp would face carbon dioxide, the carbonic acid is forming.
