X37B sukkula Mystinen AREA-51 on tietenkin yksi asioista, jotka herättävät jatkuvasti mielenkiintoa tekniikasta kiinnostuneiden ihmisten mielissä. Kun sen historiaa tarkastellaan, niin viimeinen lentokone, joka on virallisesti lentänyt sen alueella ensilentonsa on F-117, jollainen ammuttiin alas Serbian taivaalla Jugoslavian sodan aikaan. Tuo kone on poistunut käytöstä, ja ne on yhtä lukuun ottamatta varastoitu AREA-51:een.
