Intelligent cities are not just good or bad. They are both.

Are we ready for the next step in artificial intelligence? That step can be the intelligent, AI-driven city that can predict anything that people do. We must remember that the system can make people's lives easier. But it is a tool that allows it to break people's privacy.  Another thing is that our society requires reform. We must handle things like climate change and overpopulation. Intelligent technology is one of the solutions for handling energy use. And make people's life easier.  There are good and bad things in intelligent cities. The idea of AI-driven cities is those things are more effective. And make life easier than it is now, and the idea comes from the individuals. The AI-driven houses or flats adjust their energy use following the owner's day rhythm.  When a person goes to work, the intelligent house will decrease its temperature. While humans are at work, the system will clean the house using robot hovers. And when people come home the system will raise

Researchers at MIT developed an AI that can predict human behavior. (Can this mean that we turn Isaac Asimov's psychohistory into reality? )

Can this mean that we turn Isaac Asimov's psychohistory into reality?  The idea is similar to the mathematical psychohistory that novelist Isaac Asimov created for his fictional "Foundation" novel series. The idea is that the computer can predict people's behavior by benefiting Boltzmann's natural gas formulas created by Ludwig Boltzmann.  If we connect MIT's AI model to the systems that handle things like oil molecule behavior in that model the humans would be molecules for the system. And the system must only know which part of people acts following the same rules.  So if the AI can predict some person's behavior, it can predict the entire nation's behavior. The system must just make the data matrix of all individuals. And then see how most of the people will behave. The system is simple, but it requires lots of information.  The idea is to use the statistics about the behavior of the people. Then the system can use those statistics. Or databases

Black holes can be almost invisible.

"The location of the first three black holes discovered by ESA’s Gaia mission in the Milky Way. This map of our galaxy was also made by the Gaia mission. Gaia Black Hole 1 (BH1) is located just 1560 light-years away from us in the direction of the constellation Ophiuchus; Gaia BH2 is 3800 light-years away in the constellation Centaurus; Gaia BH3 is in the constellation Aquila, at a distance of 1926 light-years from Earth. In galactic terms, these black holes reside in our cosmic backyard. With a mass of about 33 times that of the Sun, BH3 is the heaviest black hole of stellar origin discovered in our galaxy. The black hole is about 33 times as  massive  as the Sun. An

Breakthrough in the brainwave research.

"UC Irvine researchers have discovered that crucial brain waves for deep sleep, previously believed to be generated only by a specific brain circuit, also originate from the hippocampus, offering new insights into memory processing during sleep." (ScitechDaily, Researchers Discover New Origin of Deep Brain Waves) Researchers found the origin of the deep brain waves. That thing is in the special brain circuit in the hippocampus. Those deep brain waves are crucial for the brain. So they can fall into deep sleep. The brain needs also deep sleep because it helps to fill neurotransmitter storages. There can also be some kind of dreams in deep sleep period. But in that case, the memory is completely turned off.  That's a sad thing because while a person sleeps, the brain is in the most productive mode and the problem is how to turn that productivity into the thing that benefits society and individuals. The brain-computer interface can make images that researchers can see on a c

The AI can be the ultimate tool for predicting and controlling the system.

"Amplified Industries’ sensors and analytics give oil well operators real-time alerts when things go wrong, allowing them to respond to issues before they become disasters. Credit: MIT News, iStock" (ScitechDaily, AI Transforms Oil Field Operations With Predictive Analytics) The AI itself is a powerful tool. It can predict things like the lifetime of people. But the best way how to use AI is to use it to predict the fully controlled system's behavior. Similar predictive algorithms, used to predict and control oil rigs can used to control fresh water plants. And they can control traffic and many other systems.  The algorithm can predict the liquid's behavior precisely if that liquid is in an environment with controlled energy, level, radiation direction, and PH. This thing makes it possible to improve chemical reactions and their control. Those algorithms can also used to predict the behavior of electromagnetic fields.  "A novel optimization technique enhances the

Artificial RNA can preprogram cells and create artificial lifeforms.

Researchers found the new RNA that doesn't age brains. This kind of RNA or some of its sequences can slow aging. And that's why we should be excited about that thing. Artificial RNA is one of the tools that offer a powerful tool for genetic engineering. In nature. The RNA molecules transport information between cells. And RNA viruses can also connect genomes from the other species to the cells. The AI is the tool that can make the ultimate speed to the chemical research. The AI which is connected to the reaction chambers and the right tools like lasers (or phonons) cut DNA and RNA into pieces from the right point. Then the system can assemble the new RNA into the point between those cut pieces. That allows researchers to connect RNA and new abilities to the precise right point.  The new knowledge about genomes tells how the genetic material decodes cells and cell entireties so that they can create certain forms. This thing means that if researchers have a certain knowledge abou

Two new leaps in the quantum world might be bigger advances. Than we ever thought.

"New research demonstrates control over quantum states that could revolutionize energy efficiency in electronics and advance quantum computing. Credit: SciTechDaily.com" (ScitechDaily, Quantum Control Unlocked: Creating Resistance-Free Electron Channels) Researchers removed resistance from electron channels. That means electrons can travel without resistance. And this is an advance in long-range quantum communication. Quantum computers can benefit from these non-resistant electron channels  In the quantum computer's internal data transportation. The long-range quantum communication in qubit form requires that there is no resistance. Resistance is the thing that destroys data in the qubit.  And the thing. What makes quantum communication secure is that. The system packs data into the physical thing like electrons. The problem is that the system must keep information in the electron. Resistance will destroy that information. So this is why the resistance must removed. And r

These breakthroughs can make AI even more flexible.

"A study shows regular gamers have enhanced cognitive abilities, like faster reaction times and better memory, compared to non-gamers. Despite criticisms of gaming, these findings indicate potential benefits in professional fields requiring high cognitive performance, without increased cognitive fatigue. Credit: SciTechDaily.com" (ScitechDaily, Improved Attention and Memory: Scientists Uncover New Cognitive Benefits of Video Games) Neuroscientists made the breakthrough when they uncovered how people learn and remember. That kind of information is required for the BCI (Brain-Computer Interface) systems that can control robots and other tools using the EEG. This kind of information is also an important thing for rehabilitating people, who have neurological damage. That data can be used to create new biological computers and microchips.  Video games can used to simulate the new tools in the virtual world. If the person can use BCI to control some characters on screen. The same s

Techno ghosts.

Image: Big Think.com Are past people here in the form of stored EEG?  Have you ever heard of the term "techno ghost"? Many people think that that term means the hologram. This is one of the biggest misunderstandings in the world. Techno ghost can mean artificial intelligence that imitates people who passed away. Or it can mean a person. Whose memories and EEG are copied into the computer's hard disks.  Then, the modified BCI (Brain Computer Interface)  system drives those things into the cloned people's brains. Maybe, that vision seemed impossible, but the fact is that. Brain implants make it possible. That person's EEG can stored on the internet during their entire life. Then the system must only make a clone of that person, and drive those memories into that cloned person's brain.  Biocomputer is "brain in a vat".  The biocomputer can reach the human intelligence level easily.  At this point, we must realize. Even if somebody is a brain in a vat, t

The new sensor from Aalto-Yliopisto benefits the Heisenberg uncertainty principle.

"An artistic illustration shows how microscopic bolometers (depicted on the right) can be used to sense very weak radiation emitted from qubits (depicted on the left). Credit: Aleksandr Käkinen/Aalto University" (ScitechDaily, Breaking the Limits: Overcoming Heisenberg’s Uncertainty in Quantum Measurements) "The uncertainty principle, also known as Heisenberg's indeterminacy principle, is a fundamental concept in quantum mechanics. It states that there is a limit to the precision with which certain pairs of physical properties, such as position and momentum, can be simultaneously known. In other words, the more accurately one property is measured, the less accurately the other property can be known." (Wikipedia, Uncertainty principle)  In this text, the Heisenberg uncertainty principle means the same as the uncertainty principle or Heisenberg indeterminacy principle, The highly accurate temperature sensors can measure the quantum system's energy levels. The mystery of Gamma-Ray Bursts.

"Artist's illustration showing the life of a massive star as nuclear fusion converts lighter elements into heavier ones. When fusion no longer generates enough pressure to counteract gravity, the star rapidly collapses to form a black hole. Theoretically, energy may be released during the collapse along the axis of rotation to form a GRB." (Wikipedia, Gamma-ray burst) Can GRB form when regular material interacts with dark energy in extreme conditions near black holes? The black hole's intensive gravity its material disks, and the relativistic jet's energy can cause a situation near or inside a black hole dark energy interacts with visible material and other energy forms.  Can GRB form when regular material interacts with dark energy in extreme conditions near black holes? Deep UV-C radiation can clean air from microbes.

"Far-UVC light has proven highly effective in real-world settings at inactivating over 99% of airborne viruses in occupied spaces, as demonstrated by a Columbia University study, offering a practical and continuous disinfection solution that could surpass conventional ventilation systems in preventing airborne disease transmission. This technology, safe for human exposure, represents a significant advancement over traditional germicidal UVC methods, which require empty spaces to operate. Credit: SciTechDaily.com" (ScitechDaily, Columbia Study Proves Far-UVC Light Nearly Eradicates Airborne Viruses in Workspaces) Deep ultraviolet radiation destroys viruses from the air. That thing can help to control pandemics. Authorities can use Deep UV-C light to destroy things, like viruses in houses and quarantine areas. The UV-C light gives a cheap and effective way to destroy micro-organisms from layers and air. That thing will help to keep organisms away from offices and other places.

Material that can switch between superconducting and resistant states could make the leap to computer technology.

"Researchers have created a novel hybrid superconductor that integrates magnetic properties, paving the way for more stable quantum computing. Credit: SciTechDaily.com" (ScitechDaily, The Magnetic Twist: Hybrid Superconductors Unlock Quantum Computing Potential) The problem with superconducting computers is how to close the gate. And the other thing is how to control electricity in that system. If things like voltage are too high electricity jumps between wires. And that thing makes those systems problematic. Also, the system must separate the parts in the data flow. The superconducting computers would be excellent tools. One way to make the logic gate for the system is to create a superconductor that can switch between superconducting and regular states.  The system can use the superconducting material and keep the temperature on the edge of superconductivity. Then the system can use lasers to warm the superconducting material that turns non-superconducting. And then stop th

Researchers developed new tools that can be a breakthrough in computing and robotics.

"Researchers have developed an innovative phase change memory device that promises low power consumption and reduced manufacturing costs. This development, potentially replacing DRAM and NAND flash memory, is notable for its efficiency and could significantly impact the future of memory and neuromorphic computing technology. Credit: SciTechDaily.com" (ScitechDaily, New Ultra-Low Power Memory for Neuromorphic Computing) The new neuromorphic computers require lots of processors. And that's why those systems require new microchips, that have low energy use. Low-energy microchips keep the temperature in computers low. Same way minimizing the cable length minimizes radio waves and temperature in neurocomputing. Silicon carbide plates can act as artificial synapses.  Researchers can create artificial synapses in the artificial neural network using silicon carbide plates. The silicon carbide plates that offer "Eternal memory" can offer a new way to make artificial axon

The JWST and Hubble made observations that caused discussions about Hubble's constant.

The Cosmic gamma ray background The cosmic expansion is not what it should be. The thing. What makes this thing interesting is that cosmic expansion seems not to be a fully symmetrical ball. There are differences in measurements depending on the object used for the measurements. Telescopes use cepheid variable stars to measure the distance to the most distant galaxies. The Hubble has problems separating cepheid stars from other stars in the longest distances.  The JWST telescope finds those distant cepheids. And that gives an interesting point of view for astronomers and cosmologists. The most distant galaxies also involve cepheid stars. And that tells us that cepheids formed earlier than expected. The distant Cepheid stars are things that should not be. There could be one reason why the cepheids should not exist. The light can, of course, travel in cosmic tornadoes or wormholes. But that thing cannot explain those cepheids in the young universe.  When we think about those observations

Bio- or nature-inspired robots are next-generation tools.

Things like ants can be models for the next-generation drones and drone swarms. The ant-shaped robot can be car-size or it can be ant-size. Larger robots can act as bases for smaller-size robots. In some visions, larger-size robots can build new robot insects. Those robots can interconnect their microprocessors into the neural network.  There are two ways to make nature-inspired robots.  1) The robot can be a miniature machine. That uses non-organic technology.  2) The system can use the real insects or other animals that it takes into control.  And those entireties can be very independent. In that model, those small-size robots can operate as an entirety where they share their sensorial data and microchip capacity. The new 2D semiconductors are tools. That can make very small and low-voltage microchips possible. Those microchips can control small insect-shaped or cyborg insects.  The reptilian-shaped robots can look like real lizards. They can use fuel cells that use methane or alcoho

Developers created a new universal BCI system that allows to play computer games.

"Researchers at The University of Texas at Austin have created an adaptive brain-computer interface (BCI) with machine learning, designed to assist individuals with motor disabilities without requiring individual calibration. This breakthrough enables easier adoption and demonstrates the technology’s application through engaging tasks and potential future uses, including brain-controlled wheelchairs and rehabilitation devices, aiming to improve quality of life for those with disabilities." (ScitechDaily, Scientists Develop Universal Brain-Computer Interface That Lets People Play Games With Just Their Thoughts) Writer Graig Thomas introduced an idea about the BCI (Brain Computer Interface) in his novel "Firefox". In that novel. The pilot can control the jet fighter systems using EEG waves. And then the Neuralink corporation installed the first EEG chip into a patient's brain a couple of months ago. And today that person plays computer games using that chip. Today
