Miksi taulussa "Metsä sadeilmalla" on outo pallomainen muoto?

Vielä hiukan Werner Holmbergin taulusta “Metsä sadeilmalla”. Tässä taulussa näyttää olevan keskellä  tai oikeastaan keskeltä oikealle jonkinlainen pallomainen muoto, joka ikään kuin hohtaa taulusta läpi. Kyseinen muoto on helposti erotettavissa ilman mitään erityisiä välineitä, ja se tekee kuvasta hyvin mielenkiintoisen. Tuossa muodossa, joka on kuin joku “Terminator”-elokuvien aikakupla, jonka läpi koneet ja ihmiset matkaavat menneisyyteen. Tuon kuplan läpi näkyy ikään kuin toinen maailma, jota Holmberg katsoo hyvin tarkasti. Tämän takia olen joskus miettinyt sitä, että onko Holmberg oikeastaan piilottanut taulusta jotain, mitä hän on halunnut salata. Ja mikä tuo asia sitten oikeastaan olisi ollut?


Kun ajatellaan sitä, miltä tuo taulun keskellä oleva alue näyttää, niin jos joku nykyajan taiteilija olisi sen tehnyt, niin silloin varmasti olisin sanonut, että hän olisi ehkä nähnyt elokuvan “Stargate” tai sitten tuo taiteilija olisi ehkä kuvannut singulariteettia, eli keinotekoista mustaa aukkoa, mutta kuitenkin itse pidä tätä ajatusta hiukan kaukaa haetulta. Kun katson tuota pallomaista kohtaa tarkasti, niin itse olen sitä mieltä, että kyllä Holmberg on sen tahallaan tehnyt. Eli kaikki nuo oksat sekä muut yksityiskohdat ikään kuin väistävät aluetta, mikä muistuttaa ikään kuin jättimäistä suurennuslasia.


Tuon suurennuslasin läpi näkyy ikään kuin aivan eri maailma, kuin mitä tuossa tämän oudon ympyrämäisen alueen ympärillä on. Ja tässä sitten mielenkiintoinen kysymys olisi tietenkin se, että oliko tuossa kohtaa taulua joku ihminen tai asia, jonka julkistamisesta saattoi joutua vaikeuksiin? En usko että Werner Holmberg nyt aivan huvikseen tätä taulua kuitenkaan maalasi. Varmaan hänellä oli tällaiselle korkeatasoiselle työlle joku ostaja, vaikka kuitenkin voidaan aina sanoa, että tuo mies varmaan ei tehnyt työtään pelkästään rahasta.
