DARPA testaa uusia aistilaajennoksia, jotka voivat mullistaa monia asioita ihmisen elämässä

DARPA (Defence Associated Research Project Agency) testaa uusia aistilaajennuksia, joiden avulla voidaan esimerkiksi kaikkia taistelukentän sekä myös vaikkapa varastojen alueelle asennettuja valvontalaitteita linkittää saumattomasti niitä käyttävien sotilaiden, poliisien tai vartijoiden käytössä oleviin älylaseihin sekä kuulokkeisiin. Noita uuden sukupolven aistilaajennuksia voidaan käyttää samalla tavoin, kuin Stephen Hawkingin käytössä olevaa puhesyntetisaattoria käytetään. Eli tuossa laitteessa voi olla sellainen käyttöliittymä, mistä henkilö näkee toiminta-alueensa kartan, ja silloin hän voi katseellaan valita sensorin, mitä hän haluaa käyttää.


Tuo sama käyttöliittymä sitten voi linkittää myös Predator-lennokin sekä nanohelikopterin kamerat sotilaiden kypärässä oleviin älynäyttöihin, ja tietenkin myös noissa droneissa voi olla aseita, joita sitten kauko-ohjataan vaikkapa saman kypäränäytön avulla, kuin millä kytkeydytään esimerkiksi alueelle asennettuihin valvontakameroihin. Tuolloin käy niin,  että henkilö saa tuon laitteen välittämän kuvan omalle HUD-näytölleen, jolloin hän voisi sitten 4G-modeemin avulla saada käyttöönsä teknisen etänäön, mikä tarkoittaa kykyä kommunikoida esimerkiksi dronejen sekä kameroiden kanssa Internetin yli.


Samoin tuollainen aistilaajennus, mikä tarkoittaa VR-näyttöjä, joita on asennettu tulevaisuuden hävittäjiin, jotta lentäjä saa paremman kuvan ympäristöstään. Mutta kun tulevaisuuden hävittäjä-pommittaja saavuttaa ehkä nopeuden Mach-5 tai enemmän, niin silloin tietenkin lentokoneen rakenteisiin pitää kiinnittää erityistä huomiota, ja tuolloin kuomu saattaa muuttua hyvin suureksi rasitteeksi, kun lentokoneeseen ei saisi ylimääräisiä saumoja tulla, ja tuolloin tietenkin parasta olisi sitten valmistaa koneen runko yhteneväisestä alumiini- tai titaanipinnasta, jolloin ilmavirtaus ei tartu koneen kuomun saumaan, ja heitä sen kuomua irti koneesta.


Tuollaisen koneen pinta voidaan varustaa kameroilla, jotka luovat lentäjälle täydellisen keinotodellisuuden, millä tämä sitten tietenkin mahdollistaa vihollisen löytymisen taivaalta, ja tietenkin nuo keinotodellisuuslaitteet toimivat datahanskojen avulla, jolloin lentäjä näkee myös koneen hallintalaitteet silmissään. Tuolloin voi esimerkiksi aseiden kohdistaminen kohteeseen tapahtua silmää kääntämällä, niin että lentäjä valitsee katseellaan koneen, mitä hän haluaa tulittaa, eli siinä missä Stephen Hawking valitsee kirjaimia kuvaruudultaan, niin hävittäjä- tai helikopterilentäjä sitten valitsee samanlaisen käyttöliittymän avulla sen, mihin hän aikoo kohdentaa aseensa.

Capitalism is a blessing and a curse.

Basically. There is nothing wrong with capitalism. The idea of capitalism is simple. If people like your products, they buy them. And that brings money to your bank accounts.
