Segway henkilökuljettimet voivat mullistaa myös lainvalvonnan sekä järjestyksen ylläpidon


Segway tai "tasapainoskootteri" on tietokoneen avulla ohjattava väline, jonka tarkoitus on mullistaa henkilökuljetus kaupungeissa tai miksei myös maastossa. Kyseinen sähkökäyttöinen kaksipyöräinen kulkuneuvo on erittäin kehittynyt sekä saasteeton tapa liikkua kaupungissa, ja sen avulla ihminen voi saavuttaa suuremman nopeuden kuin millään polkupyörällä tai rullaluistimilla voidaan saavuttaa, eli mikään ei estä segwayta kulkemasta sata kilometriä tunnissa Ainoastaan laitteen akku rajoittaa sen toimintasädettä, mikä sitten tietenkin vaikeuttaa sen käyttöä maastossa.

Kuitenkin segway voidaan varustaa myös pienellä polttomoottorilla, jollaista käytetään esimerkiksi lennokeissa. Tai sitten kyseinen väline voi toimia kuin vanhan ajan polkuompelukone, jota voidaan tilanteen mukaan käyttää joko keinulaudan tai sähkömoottorin avulla.. Tuolloin voidaan kyseistä laitetta liikuttaa samanlaisella keinulaudalla, millä pyöritettiin ennen vanhanaikaisen ompelukoneen pyörää, ja samalla tyhjiin mennyt akku saa virtaa tuon laitteen avulla. Polkuompelukoneen tekniikkaa voidaan hyödyntää myös generaattoreissa, joita käytetään lihasvoimalla, koska niillä saadaan generaattorin kehälle melko suuri nopeus.

Tuon polttomoottorin avulla voidaan pyörittää polkupyörän dynamoa, millä kyseisen laitteen akkua voidaan ladata myös maastossa liikuttaessa. Kun ajatellaan segwaytä esimerkiksi henkilökuljettimena, niin silloin siihen voidaan kiinnittää kännykkä, jonka navigaattori ohjaa kyseisen välineen automaattisesti kohteeseen, jolloin vaikkapa liikemiehet voivat hyödyntää tuota ajoneuvoa liikkuessaan vieraassa kaupungissa. Ja segway on niin nopea, kuin sitä käyttävä henkilö haluaa sen olevan, joten tuolla välineellä voi tietenkin myös ajaa pidempiä matkoja. Ja jos vastaan tulee kiperiä tilanteita, niin segwaylla pääsee myös karkuun. Se tietenkin kiinnostaa varmasti ikävä kyllä varkaita, jotka ehkä haluavat sitten esimerkiksi napata saksilla turistien käsilaukkuja ja sitten paeta tuolla välineellä.

 Mutta tietenkin segway voi auttaa myös vartijoita ja lainvalvojia ottamaan rosvoja kiinni. Eli esimerkiksi ostoskeskuksessa liikuttaessa voi tuollaisesta sähkökäyttöisestä skootterista olla hyötyä vartijoille, jotka sitten voivat napata varkaita kiinni, ja tietenkin esimerkiksi turistien seassa liikkuvat lainvalvojat varmasti hyötyisivät tuosta välineestä, joka on nopeampi sekä helpompi käyttää kuin polkupyörä. Sen päältä pääsee nopeasti hyppäämään pois, joten jos joku sitten osoittaa vaikka poliisia aseella, niin silloin poliisi pääsee sitten hyppäämään suojaan.
