Helsingin Hietalahden sataman tikkaista voidaan kysyä, että miksi niitä ei ole?



Tätä on joku myös minulta käynyt kysymässä, eli miksi tuolla Hietalahden satama-altaassa ei ole tikkaita? Tuo paikka on erittäin vilkkaalla alueella, missä on paljon iltaelämää sekä myös perheitä liikkuu kyseisellä alueella todella paljon, joten tietenkin on olemassa todella suuri vaara, että joku putoaa tuonne satama-altaaseen. Kun mietitään sitä, että Hietalahden satamassa ei ole mitään kaiteita tai muuta vastaavaa eikä veteen ole edes narutikkaita, niin miten monta kertaa sinne on joku pudonnut tai työnnetty, ja sitten hän ei ole päässyt ylös?

Tietenkin noissa paikoissa pudonneista pidetään kirjaa, ja heistä kirjoitellaan erilaisia juttuja, joista osa on erittäin surullisia. Mutta kun mietitään sitä, että esimerkiksi syksyn pimeydessä saattaa joku juhlija lähteä polkupyörällä väärään suuntaan, tai olla muuten huolimaton ja seurauksena voi olla putoaminen veteen, ja tietenkin tuolla rannalla kävelee paljon erilaisia Tallinnan lautoilta tulleita ihmisiä, jotka voivat töniä toisiaan. Eli tämän takia voisi kyllä olla ihan paikallaan rakentaa tuonne rantaan muutamia tikkaita, tai sitten voisi rantaan pultata narutikkaita, joiden kautta henkilö sitten voisi nousta vedestä pois.

Kun mietitään sitä, että tuon sataman rannassa ei ole mitään merkkejä siitä, missä alkaa pudotus veteen, niin tietenkin itse olen sitä mieltä, että myös rikkaat ihmiset voivat pudota tuonne veden varaan vahingossa, ja jos tämä sitten tapahtuu esimerkiksi kylmällä syyssäällä, niin silloin voi olla hyvin ikävä uutinen lehdessä. Ja nimenomaan syksyllä on tuollainen putoaminen satama-altaaseen kaikkein todennäköisintä, koska silloin vesi on tummaa ja pimeää, niin silloin putoamisen vaara on suuri. Jos vesi on kylmää, niin on vaara siitä, että henkilölle tulee hypotermia, eikä hän jaksa uida noille tikkaille.

Satama on vaarallinen, koska siitä puuttuu turvakaide sekä portaat, joilla vedestä voi nousta pois vedestä. Ja varsinkin nyt kun tuolla sataman lähellä asuu paljon lapsiperheitä sekä siellä on yöelämää aika paljon, niin silloin luulisi että he olisivat ottaneet kaupunkiin yhteyttä, jotta tuo satama saadaan kuntoon. Itse mietin aina välillä, että eivätkö Helsingin päättäjät tiedä, että tuo paikka on melko vaarallinen, jos siellä ei muista katsoa jalkoihinsa? Ja tietenkin on erikoista, että vasta nyt tuo puute tässä Hietalahden satamassa huomattiin.
